“‘’Lifetime’’ Treasure: Hot Air Balloon Safari over famous Tarangire National Park, the most picturesque balloon flight available in the safari circuit, and with ample opportunities for magnificent photography and video filming.

The flights takes off close to Balloon Camp Tarangire (Nyuki camping site) and typically take a northward flight path in the direction of the Tarangire River, which name translates to “River of Warthogs “. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water in the park and in the dry season, from June to November, thousands of animals including Zebras, Wildebeest and Cape Buffalo, concentrate to the park from surroundings wet season dispersal and calving areas.

The park is of course most famous for elephants and in season can be home for as many as 3000 of them. The large water features in the park, make Tarangire famous for birding and for those looking for predators, the park is also home for leopards, cheetah and tree climbing lions!

Our breakfast site is often in the Matate picnic site area which allows for a relaxing morning enjoying a hot breakfast on the ridge overlooking this most fantastic park.

Olduvai-Ndutu Ngorongoro Conservation Area: Operating from 1^st December 2022 to 31^st March 2023

Child policy:

AGE 5 to 12 Years
Children under 5 years are not permitted on balloon flights.

Cancellation Policy:

12 days prior to flight no cancellation charges.
11 days – 05 days prior to flight 50% cancellation charges applied.
04 – 48 hours prior to flight or no show 100% cancellation charges applied.
In case we company cancels the flight due to safety reasons, full refund will be honoured, or we will offer you to fly on the next available flight or other sites.
